About the PTA

Let’s continue our tradition of supporting the PTA! Twenty years ago, a group of dedicated, involved parents who wanted a different type of education for their children created the Montessori at Franklin program. Without the support of parents over the last two decades, M@F wouldn't be the wonderful school it is today. Just ask your kids: What do they love about Montessori at Franklin? Surely they’ll mention many of the PTA-sponsored events such as Famous People Night, Extreme Bowling, school assemblies, E-I Game Day, field trips, the Scholastic Book Fair and of course Montessori Magic! None of these special events would happen if it weren't for parents who organize, volunteer, and support them.

WE NEED PARENTS TO ATTEND PTA MEETINGS!!  PTA meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month (except December) at 6:30 p.m. in the media center. You do NOT need to be a PTA member to attend!! Child care for children over two is provided at no cost, thanks to a cooperative effort between the Franklin PTSA and the Montessori at Franklin PTA.

BE A VOLUNTEER: Many hands mean light work for everyone and a great time for all involved.
